The role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Enterprise Account Executive to drive our expansion in the U.S. market. This senior role is pivotal in executing our sales strategy, growing our market presence, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in prospecting and selling to mid-market and enterprise accounts, along with strong leadership skills and deep industry knowledge in data services.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the U.S. market, aligned with Shalion’s business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to exceed sales targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand Shalion’s customer base.

Prospecting And Sales Execution

  • Identify and engage potential mid-market and enterprise clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Present and demonstrate Shalion’s solutions effectively, addressing client-specific needs and pain points.
  • Negotiate and close complex sales deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.

Market Intelligence And Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analysis to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities.

Customer Success And Retention

  • Ensure a smooth transition of new clients to the customer success team for onboarding and ongoing support.
  • Maintain regular contact with key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Address and resolve any customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, focusing on mid-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce industry and related..
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Desirable experience in the retail intelligence or data analytics sector.
