Compensation
- We’ll pay you an annual salary of $45,000 to $50,000.
We need you to fill the role of the Year-Round Aquatics Program Manager. This is a Full-Time, Exempt position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Plan, promote, implement, coordinate, and supervise aquatic programming including, but not limited to: private and group swim lessons, swim teams, swim enrichment for Kids Connection and Early Childhood Program, and special events.
- Oversee process of connecting private swim lesson participants with instructors.
- Act as league representative for Piranha’s swim team in NAAL summer league and Meet Director for home swim meets
- Evaluate existing and proposed programs and make recommendations for improvement based on best-in-class aquatic practices.
- Facilitate swim instructor training courses.
- Perform routine inspections of all aquatic’s program equipment for safety and functionality and ensure the overall safety, health and welfare of all individuals participating in aquatic programming.
- Work in partnership with the Aquatics Department to ensure all operational needs are met during aquatic programs.
- Be a consistent presence on the pool deck and ensure instructors and coaches are providing the highest quality programs.
- Maintain organized records including but not limited to: training, team records, student and staff evaluations, rosters, attendance, make-up lessons, and staff certifications.
- Ability to manage basic and complex administrative duties, including but not limited to, program pricing, time and attendance records, water safety and other pool certifications, purchasing, customer registration, correspondence, etc.
Job Requirements
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- 2 years of experience in aquatics management
- Adhere to our Mission, Core Values, and all HR policies and procedures.
- Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator (within 3 months of hire)
- Degree from 4-year college or university
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor
- American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Trainer
