JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for handling a variety of teller tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Handles a variety of duties for customers including paying and receiving monies, negotiable instruments, posting transactions, accepting payments, and verifying funds.
Balances cash drawer and ensures accuracy of count.
Handles routine customer inquiries.
Ensures customer satisfaction and reports any concerns to supervisor.
Keeps accurate records of all transactions.
Handles more difficult transactions and provides assistance to less experienced tellers.
Demonstrates knowledge and expertise of basic teller functions and supports the Companys overall mission, standards, policies and procedures, and confidentiality guidelines
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
High school graduation or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
Basic Math Skills
Basic Personal Computer Knowledge
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills: able to work well with a wide range of people.
Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
Good follow through on projects and deliverables.
Good attention to detail.
Strong sense of customer service.
Some familiarity with cashiering equipment.
Able to provide training to new teller employees.
Able and willing to continue business skill development.
