Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the coffee shop to ensure smooth functioning and quality service.
- Manage and train staff, including baristas and service personnel, to provide exceptional customer experiences.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and customer footfall.
- Maintain inventory levels and manage suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality products.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and analyze sales reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that fosters a sense of community among customers and staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the food service or coffee industry.
- Strong understanding of coffee beverages, preparation methods, and customer preferences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and lead a team.
- Ability to manage financials, including budgeting and profit/loss analysis.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Experience in marketing and implementing promotional campaigns to drive sales.
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage service.
