What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Order Selector position at Shamrock Gift Wrap & Accessories?
This position plays a critical role in the success of our company by ensuring seamless product flow throughout our facilities and trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Enter information into our computer system to notify management of the start of the order selecting process
- Count items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure conformance to our company standards
- Sort and place materials or items at the proper door to ensure zero short on delivery tolerance
- Reach and Sit Down Forklift Certifications are required
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
