Job Summary
Shamrock Roofing Co. is seeking an experienced Roofing Service Manager to oversee our service department. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a customer-focused approach to ensure high-quality service and operational efficiency.
Please note this is a commission based role that has the potential to transition into a salary plus commission.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Manage all roofing service projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
Conduct inspections to ensure work meets industry and company standards.
Team Management:
Supervise, schedule, and support service technicians and subcontractors.
Assist in hiring, training, and developing service team members.
Customer Service:
Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout service projects.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
Operational Efficiency:
Maintain and monitor service materials and inventory.
Implement and improve service workflows and protocols.
Reporting & Revenue Growth:
Prepare and submit service reports, project updates, and budgets.
Identify upsell opportunities and drive revenue in the service department.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in service department management and leadership.
- Strong skills in inventory management and control.
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations.
- Excellent customer service and team management abilities.
- Familiarity with purchasing and retail sales processes.
- Effective negotiation and employee orientation skills.
- or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Background in project management and service management.
