- Pick up materials from storage or material houses and double-check said materials and deliver them to the job site.
- Return any unused materials back to the supplier.
- Upload paperwork in corresponding jobs to reflect pick up / return.
- Retrieves materials from job sites as needed
- Operates material handling equipment as needed
- Cleans and maintains stock areas
- Maintain tools and equipment in a working condition
- Works with the company fleet manager to help maintain vehicles
- Helps maintain accurate material inventory
- All other duties assigned
- Driver will deliver building materials at residential and commercial locations
- Perform pre and post DOT truck inspection
- Properly secure load on truck / trailer
- Daily maintenance and cleanliness of truck
- Safely operate assigned equipment : i.e. crane, conveyor, tractor - trailer, forklift, piggyback
- Report any unsafe job site or injury immediately to supervisor
- Job site supervision of material handler on rooftop as needed
- Strong customer service skills

- Valid CDL is required
- 21 years of age is required
- Ability to operate various equipment such as simple hand tools
- Understand and demonstrate basic computer skills
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Frequent lifting from 50 lbs
- Access and mobility in tight spaces
- Working at Heights - over 5 feet often
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling
- Hardworking with a "do-what-it-takes" attitude (negative attitudes need not apply!)
