Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional care to our patients in a home environment. Responsibilities:

- Provide personalized patient care and support to clients in our home.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
- Manage patient behavior and develop strategies for coping with challenging behaviors.
- Drive clients to appointments and errands as needed.
- Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Utilize nursing home systems and technology to document patient care and track medication administration.
- Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary.
- Engage in activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of clients.

Requirements:

- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in patient care, preferably in a home care or nursing home setting but willing to train.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transporting clients is preferred but not required.
- Certification in medication administration, such as CMA or CNA is preferred but not required.
- First aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
- Familiarity with nursing home systems and technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
