Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Shane's Rib Shack. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of our restaurant's daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations, including scheduling, ordering food and supplies, and team member development
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy, as well as alcohol regulations (if applicable)
- Control Profit & Loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
- Support the recruiting process of team members, including ongoing coaching, discipline, and praise for existing team members
- Maintain budget and employee records, prepare payroll, and pay bills or monitor bookkeeping records
- Manage shifts, making daily decisions, scheduling, and planning while upholding standards for product quality and cleanliness of the kitchen and restaurant.
- Monitor food preparation methods, ensuring 100% compliance with company operation policy
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
- Provide leadership by inspiring excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude, and commitment toward company objectives
- Maintain a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services
- Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction; responding to complaints and retaining customers
- Execute corporate and local marketing programs timely and completely
- Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by promoting safe work behaviors among team members
