This exciting opportunity is available at the award-winning Playa Largo Resort & Spa in the beautiful Florida Keys. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our culinary team as a Kitchen Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including planning, preparation, setup, and service.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items that meet the needs and preferences of our guests.
- Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation are maintained in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or degree preferred.
- Certification in food safety and handling.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury resort setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
