As a Account Director, Events , we rely on you to :
Oversees the service operations of events management team on groups and events management.
Manages events distribution among the team.
Handles high profile events and works directly with the organizers to plan and coordinate their event requirements to provide professional advice and facilitate on their planning.
Establishes food tasting guidelines and procedures with F&B to encourage menu up selling and facilitate ongoing menus improvement.
Ensures events managers to execute proper event on-site handovers with the organizers. Oversees groups management and VIP guests arrangement by events managers.
Supervises rooming list cut-off and room reservations procedures to facilitate and optimize group forecast accuracy.
Ensures proper handover of groups from events managers to hotel operations team prior to group arrival.
Develops and executes events orientation and cross training programs for all staff in Events Management teams.
Exercises leadership to achieve team development based on individual strengths, development needs, career aspirations and abilities.
