We are currently seeking for an Assistant Director of HR to join our Human Resources team of the Hotel.

Under the guidance and supervision of the Area Director of Human Resources, you will assist, implement and drive effective and efficient systems, activities & programs that will enhance colleague motivation and retention in the areas of HR Administration & Operations including Employee Relations, Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefit, Colleague Welfare and the Learning & Development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Oversee the HR team and HR daily operations of the hotel.
  • Provides supervision, direction and leadership to HR team based on the company culture.
  • Administers, monitors the implemention and role models the HR policies & processes
  • Mediates, coaches & counsels colleagues following the Corrective Behavior & Disciplinary Procedures
  • Ensure all Human Resources and administrative matters are implemented and carried out in a timely and professional manner
  • Drives corporate programs related to HR
  • Manages HR budget and monitors the expenses
  • Ensures timely recruitment and selection of the right candidates for the right job
  • Oversees and manages the entire onboarding process of new joiners
  • Works with department heads on effective retention of talents and employee satisfaction at the workplace
  • Oversees Learning and Development programs and training needs to comply with Shangri-La standards and individual development needs of colleagues

EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Management experience in Human Resources preferably in hospitality or service industry
  • Strong skill in Recruitment & Selection
  • Knowledgeable in handling the Payroll System & Talent Management System
  • Expert knowledge of Mongolian Labor Law, legal and employment practices and related rules and regulations
  • Strong ability to process and formulate documents, policies and procedures
  • Good trainer and facilitator
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Mongolian languages (oral & written)
