Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the Sous Chef.
- Ensure mise-en-place is completed prior to service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Use and maintain kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Contribute to cost control by minimizing waste and ensuring proper portioning.
- Participate in stocktaking and inventory management as required.
- Foster a positive work environment by assisting and supporting team members.
Qualifications
Apprenticeship or college-level education in Culinary Arts.
