What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR BENEFIT PROGRAMS SPECIALIST position at Shannon Health?
The Benefit Programs Specialist is responsible for managing and administering all Human Resources and financial aspects of Shannon’s reimbursement programs, such as, but not limited to: Education Assistance and all types of Conditional Reimbursement Agreements.
This role will also serve as the primary liaison for the Child Development Center, ensuring smooth communication with the managing partner and supporting all operational aspects.
This role is responsible for ensuring financial reconciliation for any missed benefits deductions due to various reasons, but mainly due to leave, by collecting amounts owed from Team Members and communicating with various departments and external partners to ensure continuity.
This role will handle complex benefits administration tasks, including payment processing, system configurations, and troubleshooting benefit issues. This position requires a strong understanding of HRIS setup and a customer-oriented approach to support Team Members.
This role will collaborate with external partners, various departments, and individual Team Member’s to ensure awareness of and utilization of benefits resources while maintaining program compliance with organizational policies and budget guidelines. The Program Specialist will also provide analysis and reporting on program utilization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and retention strategies.
This role requires close collaboration with external vendors, internal departments, and individual Team Members to promote awareness and utilization of available benefits resources. They will ensure all programs are administered in compliance with organizational policies and budget guidelines, providing regular analysis and reporting on program engagement to support Shannon’s retention strategies and organizational goals.
