Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with broad experience to serve within the SCDC legal team. You must have at least 2 years’ corporate law experience and are able to start immediately.

Job Responsibilities :

• File claims as needed
• Develop defense strategies, analyze claims and defenses in litigation cases.
• Collaborate with internal clients, senior attorneys, and other partners to develop case strategies and solutions.
• Draft and argue motions, including motions to dismiss, discovery motions, summary disposition / judgment motions.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Participate in pre-trial and trial preparation.
• Work in other generalist legal tasks as needed
