Job Description
We are looking for a high-energy individual to serve as the paralegal to in-house counsel on litigation, corporate, real estate, and administrative matters. This includes scheduling meetings, court hearings, and deadlines. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing basic legal filings, correspondence, and subpoenas as necessary.
The selected candidate will maintain calendars of impending deadlines and meetings to ensure timely compliance. They will also be responsible for filing, updating, and maintaining litigation, corporate, real estate, and administrative files.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling meetings, court hearings, and deadlines
- Preparing basic legal filings, correspondence, and subpoenas

Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of three (3) years' civil litigation experience, preferably in a regional or national law firm setting. Real Estate and/or Construction experience is a plus. The ideal candidate must have experience with Florida State/Federal Court filings and related systems/processes, and possess the ability to calculate deadlines for calendaring.
Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office applications is required, along with strong proofreading/critical thinking skills. Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential. The candidate must be capable of handling confidential client information in a professional and trustworthy manner.
Bi-Lingual individuals are preferred. Notary License is also an asset.
