Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Help prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with the Finance Director to ensure compliance with grant requirements, tracking fund allocation and reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax filings and audits, as needed.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Process accounts payable, including paying bills and processing checks in a timely manner.
- Support the executive team with financial tasks, such as preparing reports, presentations, and data analysis for strategic decision-making.
- Assist with developing and improving financial procedures and policies.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Qualifications :
- Holds an MBA or currently enrolled in an MBA program, with a focus on finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
