A client of Sharp Decisions Inc. is looking for a Systems Analyst with application support experience to be based in Phoenix, AZ. The position is 100% onsite. The contract duration is at least 8 months with possible extension. *W2 and local only.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will troubleshoot existing software, configurations, and associated interfaces; interact with internal and external customers, and third-party vendors. It will also provide support for data exchanges, including Open Data provide technical support of any critical system change, upgrade, migration, and implementation.
Applicants must have experience in Linux, TSQL/SQL, Message Queue (IBM MQ) and Shell scripting.
Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting Critical Systems and Interfaces. Database development experience is needed, as well as writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
The responsibilities include those of a systems analyst that must be able to support application and interfaces.
Top skills: SQL, database conversion experience, system install and deployment experience/troubleshooting, data analysis and scripting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3 years would be preferred and previous experience Supporting and Troubleshooting Law Enforcement Systems and Interfaces is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field. Other combinations of experience and education, which meet the minimum requirements, may be substituted.
Law enforcement experience is a plus.
