Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Active Directory SME Architect to join our financial services team. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Active Directory (AD) infrastructure within a global enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Active Directory, Azure, O365, PowerShell scripting, DNS, PKI, and Group Policy Administration (GPO).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Active Directory discovery and work closely with multiple stakeholders.
- Lead AD-related projects, providing technical guidance and ensuring security hardening of the environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory services, including Trusts, Replication, Global Catalog, Distributed File System (DFS), and PKI.
- Administer and support Azure, O365, and other cloud services.
- Develop, modify, and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system administration.
- Conduct Windows Server administration (2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022) for domain controllers, file/print sharing, and application servers.
- Monitor capacity and performance metrics and generate reports.
- Interface with multiple business units to support IT operations.
- 7-15 years of hands-on Active Directory experience in an enterprise environment.
- Expertise in Active Directory engineering, including security hardening and legacy protocol management.
- 10 years of PowerShell scripting experience for AD automation and administration.
- Strong experience in Azure AD, O365, DNS, PKI, and GPO administration.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server OS (2012-2022).
- Background in system automation using PowerShell and other tools.
- Strong understanding of client/server network protocols and security best practices.
- Ability to refine business requirements and create technical design documentation.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in large enterprise environments and consulting backgrounds are a huge plus.
- Experience in financial services or credit reporting industry is a plus.
- Experience working in large corporations with complex AD environments.
- Consulting experience or working in highly regulated industries.
