Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide Technology Infrastructure and Software Development teams in implementing and improving risk and control measures.
- Ensure thorough Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), ensuring all aspects of risk are identified and addressed.
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal audits and regulatory examinations, ensuring compliance and effectiveness of IT controls.
- Drive continuous improvement in control execution and risk assessment frameworks.
- Collaborate with second-line risk teams and first-line managers to assess, manage, and mitigate technology-related risks.
- Enhance procedures, governance, and risk frameworks for IT operations and software development.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and implement best practices for risk management and compliance in a technology environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in IT operations, risk management, or technology within banking or a highly regulated industry.
- Proven experience in risk management within technology, including network, server, or mainframe administration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, interpret, and present complex information.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact with auditors, regulators, and executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership in IT risk management, with a track record of improving controls and mitigating risks.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Hybrid work model, based in New York, NY.
- Work is primarily office-based with a standard office setup.
