Summary :   SharpeVision Communication Center Ambassadors combine service orientation, telecommunications ability and social perceptiveness, while taking ownership of their impact on Company outcomes and results. They are dependable, accurate, organized, detail-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to establish rapport with clients. They thrive in a support role and are great communicators who work well within a team environment. They can effectively handle stress / conflict and are able to multi-task and manage time well within a conventional and structured work environment. Our Communication Center Ambassadors regularly demonstrate skills in and knowledge of establishing, documenting and recording information; soft sales; appointment scheduling; and general phone and computer use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Answering incoming calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls or taking messages as necessary

2. Data entry

3. Scheduling appointments

4. Answering questions about the business, using reference files

5. Maintaining call records

6. Operating communications equipment or systems

7. Relaying information between personnel

8. Maintaining patient privacy

Qualifications :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. Education / Experience :

High school diploma required. Must have strong customer service and communication skills and be able to multi-task. Ability to work on a computer required. Knowledge of refractive surgery or ophthalmology is a plus but not required. Knowledge of Salesforce and Modernizing Medicine software is a plus but not required. Candidates will complete on-the-job training.

Language Ability :

Fluency of the English language. Excellent oral comprehension and expression. Speech clarity and recognition. Active listening. Ability to respond to common inquiries and provide information to patients and colleagues. Written expression and comprehension. Good interpersonal skills. Bilingual English / Spanish desired.

Math Ability :

Ability to compile, tabulate, or verify information or data.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to collect data and establish facts. Ability to use logic. Ability to analyze data or information and use deductive and inductive reasoning. Selective attention. Information ordering.

Computer Skills :

Document Management Software, Microsoft Office Suite, Email, Calendar and Scheduling Software, Medical Software, Internet, Data Entry

None required.

None.

Work Environment :
