We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, showcasing our properties and assisting them through the leasing process. Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting key features and amenities.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of lease agreements, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
- Manage tenant inquiries and provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, including applications and contracts.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address tenant concerns and ensure properties are well-maintained.
- Utilize property management software, such as OneSite, to track leads, manage leases, and update tenant information.
- Handle conflict management effectively to resolve tenant issues while maintaining a positive community atmosphere.
- Stay informed about local real estate laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all leasing activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is essential.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with potential tenants effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in administrative duties.
- Familiarity with property maintenance processes is a plus.
- Proficient in using property management software; experience with OneSite is an advantage.
- Strong conflict management skills to navigate tenant relations smoothly.
