SUMMARY
Responsible for the coordination of the warehouse/transfer station on-site activities, managing receipt, stocking, and shipping of products; staging and delivering customer orders; and all purchasing transactions with Curtis Bay Medical Waste Services and local vendors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Responsible for staging, shipping and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies.
. Communicates performance standards and objectives.
. Monitors operations and staff and recommends, when necessary, changes in methods, procedures, structure, and additions or changes in personnel to secure optimum utilization of resources.
. Administers all company policies and procedures, communicates to staff, interprets as necessary, ensures compliance and safety.
. Monitors and ensures that staff is performing their functions safely and productively. Makes recommendations for changes or improvement, when necessary.
. Manage Lytx systems and conduct monthly Safety Trainings.
. Responsible for managing the transportation of medical waste throughout your facility.
· Stocks the parts stores with an appropriate amount of merchandise.
· Responsible for inventory control.
· Enters inventory into software system.
· Practices safe material handling techniques.
· Filing of M/S’s, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
· Responsible for filing of freight claims for damaged goods.
· Manages receipt, inspecting, and stocking products.
· Responsible for determining inventory levels, identifying and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy.
.Monitors vehicle inspections and repairs for SQG fleet and scheduling rental trucks when needed.
.Address customer service issues.
.Warehouse / Supply Chain Management.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· High School Diploma or GED (general education degree; and six months to one-year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Forklift experience preferred.
· Flexibility to work...days, nights, overtime and weekends as required
· Ability to work as a team member, quickly, safely, and responsibly
· Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
· Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Self-motivated and must be diligent in attention to detail.
· Good working knowledge of basic computer skills.
· Excellent organizational, time management and customer relation skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Education equivalent to graduation from high school or the equivalent in related work experience
- Two or more years of customer service experience are required. Previous route management experience is a plus.
- Ability to plan and supervise the work of others.
- Maintains current required driver’s license, with an excellent driving record.
- Demonstrates good computer skills.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively communicate in English, read, and understands regulatory requirements. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical form.
