Job Title: Sales Support & Retention Specialist
Department: Inside Sales
Reports to: Customer Service Manager and Inside Sales Manager
FLSA Status: Salary Exempt
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for actively engaging with existing customers, proactively updating contracts before they expire. You will primarily operate from within the company's office or remotely, using various communication channels such as phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings to maintain customer relationships. The goal is to increase customer retention and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to existing clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for contract renewals and upselling
- Assist in preparing proposals and contracts for existing clients
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure a seamless transition during the renewal process
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and contract renewals in the CRM system
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the renewal process
- Analyze customer feedback and data to identify trends and opportunities for improving customer retention
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in sales support or customer retention role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of the industry and product offerings is a plus.
