We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and be proficient in various related skills. This role involves shaping, smoothing, and finishing surfaces of poured concrete, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. The Concrete Finisher will work closely with other construction professionals to deliver exceptional craftsmanship on each project.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the work area for concrete pouring, including forms and reinforcements.
- Pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
- Use tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds to finish surfaces of poured concrete.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks related to concrete forms and finishes.
- Read blueprints and project plans to understand layout requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct maintenance on tools and equipment used in the finishing process.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in construction.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications accurately.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
