Overview
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Carpentry and/or Precast Concrete, with expertise in various building techniques and materials. As a Builder, you will play a crucial role in transforming designs into functional structures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Construct Precast Concrete forms to match plan specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
- Construction includes layout, cutting of raw materials, nailing, measuring, and confirming dimensional layouts.
- Collaborate with other employees to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the building process and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong tape measure experience is required.
- Able to take direction and work independently.
- Flexibility to work a schedule with no defined end time, based on work volume is critical.
- Knowledge of basic math skills a must.
- Strong Tape measure experience is required.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
