Shasta Regional Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Medical Intensivist Nurse to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse who can deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of practice, including delivering safe and effective care to critically ill patients. They will also be responsible for directing and guiding patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians, and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
To be successful in this position, you must possess a valid California RN license, obtain ACLS certification within 60 days of start, and obtain BLS certification within 60 days of start.
