With 130 sales representatives across North America, the Patcraft marketing department supports sales of our flooring via product promotional support, social media engagement, technical papers, and general sales support on events, promotions and presentations.
The Brand Content Manager will work with the Senior Brand Experience Manager on creating branded content that will drive overall customer experience and brand strategy, as well as support our salesforce. The communications manager role is vital for our business and cultural success and works across our entire design, marketing and sales organization to develop and share content for both internal and external audiences. We’re looking for someone who is sharp, social, and highly motivated to manage content creation for a fast-paced, innovative, and performance driven brand. The role will partner across departments on communications projects including product launches, brand campaigns and social media.
Please note this position is based out of our Create Centre in Cartersville, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Work with marketing and product development teams to manage social media, blog content creation and website content development.
- Act as the brand’s storyteller, crafting and delivering messages that maintain authenticity and engagement across all communication channels, with an emphasis on social media and digital experiences.
- Write, edit, and proofread engaging content for various platforms including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with other marketing team members to align content with overall campaign goals.
- Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content across multiple channels.
- Use video, animation, design and photography skills to create organic and paid social media content over a variety of channels
- Create engaging digital content and experiences that surprise and delight our audience and positions Patcraft as a thought leader to our customers, as well as monitor and engage with all customer interactions via social media
- Graphic design and creative direction for social and other brand initiatives working with the creative team.
- Brainstorm new, creative approaches to organic social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest
- Plan, implement, manage and monitor the social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness and engagements
- Analyze engagement data, identify trends in customer interactions and plan digital campaigns to build community online
- Manage the process of purchasing, organizing, and maintaining our project photography library.
- Travel in market 2-4 times per year
- Participate in sales and marketing events as requested
- Manage accurate dissemination of information to both external and internal groups
Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant professional experience
- 4-year communication, marketing, or journalism degree or relevant experience.
- Basic graphic design skills required including ability to create, modify and edit graphics in InDesign or Photoshop
- Ability to create video content for use on social media
- Must be able to translate technical information into clear communications for a general audience.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and design, professional printing/publishing skills are a plus, including the ability to present concepts verbally
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital/social media
- Marketing and/or product development experience in the carpet industry desired.
