Position Overview
Shaw Industries is hiring a Supply Chain Business Partner for Residential Hard Surfaces. The Supply Chain Business Partner – Residential Hard Surface is a supply chain agent embedded within the res. hard surface category management team. The primary focus for this role will be on the TIle & Stone business, with potential to transition to other products within residential hard surface as business needs shift. The SCBP’s primary responsibility is to gain a deep understanding of the business and go-to-market strategy for all products, assess the supply chains readiness to support those strategies, and implement process improvement/innovation where needed. The role ensures connectivity throughout the end-to-end integrated supply chain management process by working with each functional area (category, logistics, integrated customer care, supplier development, sourcing operations, quality, product development, samples, planning, analytics, IT, etc.). Additionally, this role will act as the functional supplier relationship manager for all Tile & Stone suppliers. In this capacity, they will be the primary point of contact between Shaw and the supplier and coordinate with the Director of Supplier Management to ensure all supplier needs are met.

Responsibilities:
- Act as an integrated supply chain liaison embedded within business categories in order to bring a supply chain perspective to any ongoing initiatives.
- Serve as the supplier relationship manager for all suppliers in the category you support, acting as the primary point of contact between Shaw and the supplier.
- Complete supply development activities for the carpet cushion category, aiding to identify and launch new products in the category
- Work directly with the business teams to gain insights into relevant supply chain opportunities for process improvement.
- Coach business teams on supply chain impacts to their decisions.
- Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the product category and related projects.
- Build, develop, and improve supply chain initiatives vital to the success of the product category’s growth initiatives.
- Communicate timely, clear, and ongoing project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Conduct after action reviews (timely feedback, clarifying needs for improvement) creating recommendations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in supply chain
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or similar or a minimum of 7 years work experience in a supply chain related field.
- Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis and execute data-informed initiatives that will improve our customer experience and drive business growth.
- Clear and concise communication skills with associates and leaders of all levels of the organization, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of Shaw’s end-to-end supply chain including demand planning, inventory planning, sourcing, transportation, distribution, inventory management and customer order entry.
- Ability to understand the ripple effect of decisions from product development to product delivery.
- Understanding of key metrics and business indicators, including Network Fill Rate goals, FOB Fill Rate goals, OTIF, Inventory Levels, and Forecasts
- Project management skills with a continuous improvement mindset, strong bias for action, and ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
