PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including completing automated new hire paperwork, training set-up, printing of materials, and scheduling orientations
- Answer routine mail and other inquiries and follows up with others to ensure that information is coordinated
- Arrange and make notification of appointments
- Answer telephone calls, tactfully handle inquiries and transfer to appropriate party
- Schedule meetings and make meeting arrangements
- Support for all benefit related questions and issues; provide consultation to business groups on benefit impacts through associate leaves.
- Ensure consistency and fairness in policy and procedure; also, as it relates to Federal and State law requirements.
- Source and identify candidates
- Review and screen resumes
- Build strong business partnerships with Hiring Managers by developing effective recruiting strategies
- Assist with planning and coordinating associate functions such as Service Awards, Associate-sponsored activities
- Other duties assigned by management
- Bilingual - English, Spanish required
- Proficient computer skills including Oracle and Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Access, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to work independently
- Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
- Strong conflict management skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of associates and management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and influence others
- High degree of initiative; proven team player, excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to manage confidential information
- Sits for extended periods of time
- Most work is performed under general office conditions in a temperature-controlled environment
- Workday is a fast paced environment with multiple priorities as per business needs.
- Uses calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during normal workday.
