Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will oversee nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure that high-quality medical services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate daily activities to ensure optimal patient care.
- Conduct assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
- Provide direct patient care, including IV insertion, catheter care, and acute pain management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
Experience
- Previous experience in an ICU or medical-surgical setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in catheter care, IV insertion, vital signs monitoring, and acute pain management is essential.
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) is a plus.
- Experience in primary care or clinic settings is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are required.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
