Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica, Massachusetts is currently accepting applications for an anticipated opening for a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Instructor for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualified candidates must be licensed as a Massachusetts Chapter 74 Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Instructor or possess the qualifications to become licensed. In this role the qualified candidate would develop and deliver HVAC/R lessons to high school students enrolled in grades 9 through 12. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of systems used in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Previous teaching experience preferred with a focus on training and mentoring students to learn the skills and competencies necessary to be successful in the HVAC/R industry. Massachusetts SEI Endorsement preferred. Current Massachusetts Refrigeration License preferred.
Salary Range $66,400 - $125,900, commensurate with experience.
