Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with children through play, educational activities, and ensuring their overall well-being while fostering their social, emotional, and physical development.

Duties

• Opening up daycare at 6:25 am
• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the daycare setting.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation practices.

Experience

• Previous experience working in a daycare or childcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children are essential qualities.
• Knowledge of child development principles is a plus but can be learned on the job.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• No nights
• No weekends

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
