THE POSITION
Janitor - Dealership Service Department
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the service department, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including both commercial and industrial cleaning tasks.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by replenishing supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct floor care activities to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with residential painting and minor repairs as needed to maintain facility aesthetics.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling according to company policies.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Valid driver’s license with clear driving record.
