POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Shea Mortgage CA Production Branch Team and will provide strategic support to CA Shea Homes Divisions for all homebuyer financing related needs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervision and Training of Shea Mortgage Loan Originators.
- Recruitment for New Employees (as needed).
- Provide Training for Shea Homes Sales Team (Mortgage Related).
- Oversight of all Escrow Status Weekly and Monthly Calls / Meetings (internally with SM and with Shea Homes).
- Participation / Attendance in Shea Homes Senior Staff Meetings and Shea Homes Sales Meetings.
- Ensure Timely Closings for Shea Homes Buyers through Efficient Processes.
- Knowledge of Condo Guidelines Required.
- Knowledge of Loan Programs and Guidelines Required. Jumbo, FHA, VA & Conv.
- Ability to Solve Customer Service Issues Quickly and Successfully.
- Develop and Facilitate Homebuyer Financing Presentations and Participate in Community Webinars as Requested.
- Provide Origination Coverage when Team is Out of Office and as Volume Dictates.
- Proactively Deal with All Issues that Arise.
- Ensure Branch Compliance
- Some Personal Production Required.
Works under supervision of the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing and on own initiative performs standard and advanced duties. Must be self-motivated and able to work successfully in a team environment; have a strong customer service focus; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected. Must have ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects and assignments, be detail-oriented, conscientious with a dependable work ethic. Exceptional organizational, verbal and written communications, and people skills are required. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relations with vendors, agencies and internal and external customers. Must show ability to prioritize responsibilities to consistently meet deadlines.
