Looking for an EXPERIENCED professional pet bather to add to our great team.
Responsibilities:
- Bathing and grooming pets according to the specific needs of each animal
- Handling and restraining pets during grooming procedures
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all animals in your care
- Cleaning and sanitizing grooming tools and work areas
- Providing basic care such as feeding, walking, and monitoring the health of animals
- Assisting with nail trimming, ear cleaning, and expressing anal glands as needed Requirements:
- Experience in pet grooming or related field such as dog training, equine care, or veterinary assistance
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Proficiency in heavy lifting as some pets may require assistance
- Knowledge of animal behavior and safe handling techniques
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different pet care needs
- Comfortable working in a kennel environment with various types of animals
