Vehicle Emissions Tester

New to the car business?  Want to get a taste of the automotive business but not sure where to start?  Join us in Emissions where you work a brand new Quick Lube facility and interact directly with customers daily.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30-4:45 pm. This position could also be split into two part-time positions if needed.

Responsibilities

• As an emissions tester, you attach equipment to the car to measure the amount of emissions it produces.  If the vehicle meets the state standards, you certify that the car passed the test and send the electronic documentation to the appropriate government agency.  

• Process payments for customers who renew their license plates on-site.

• Must become State Certified to conduct emissions tests.  This is paid for by the dealership.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills

• Excellent customer service skills  - you interact with customers all day
• High School Diploma

• Time management 

  • Punctuality

• Basic computer skills.

• Must be physically able to stand for the majority of the day

• Clean driving record

• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

• Some occasional lifting
