Are you an experienced Automotive Dealership Controller looking for an exciting opportunity? We seek a results-driven financial leader to oversee our dealership's finance and accounting operations.
In this role, you will:
Manage and oversee financial reporting, including monthly and annual consolidated statements
Drive cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting for strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with internal controls and industry best practices
Lead inventory management and cost control initiatives
Collaborate with leadership to optimize financial performance and profitability

Requirements:
- Must have 3 years of recent Automotive Controller experience at a franchised dealer
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reynolds and Reynolds's experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports summarizing and forecasting activity and financial positions in areas such as income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and projected operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
- Oversee the financial accounting processes, including the general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Manage operational accounting processes, including receivables, payment processing, and accounts payable.
- Oversee the accounting and consolidation systems.
- Coordinate and manage the account reconciliation process.
- Monitor compliance with evolving accounting standards.
- Maintain effective controls over the location's accounting processes.
