Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Client Accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for property owners.
- Establish accounting controls, review reconciliations, and oversee recurring accounting activities.
- Partner with property management leadership to enhance financial workflows and reporting efficiencies.
- Develop accounting metrics to provide insights into cash flow requirements and financial performance.
- Oversee onboarding of new client accounts, ensuring seamless integration and accurate setup.
- Supervise enterprise systems, workflows, and process improvements for accounting operations.
- Provide training and mentorship for property management and financial reporting staff.
- Lead performance discussions and professional development for accounting team members.
Qualifications:
- 12 years of accounting experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- CPA preferred; real estate industry experience strongly desired.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, accounting controls, and process improvement.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and business partnership skills.
- Experience with enterprise accounting systems and workflow automation is a plus.
