What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Assistant Teacher position at Sheepscot Valley Children’s House?
Sheepscot Valley Children's House is looking for a nurturing, creative and flexible full-time assistant for our Toddler program, working with children from 16 to 24 months. The chosen candidate will work with children, their families and staff. Our priority is to provide high quality childcare and a nurturing environment.
Requirements: Candidates must have a desire to work with toddlers of various ages and development levels. Must be energetic, have a positive attitude, loving, flexible, self directed and have a strong work ethic. MRTQ participation. A minimum of one year experience with infants and toddlers and early childhood is a must.

Education: A CDA or background in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Staff is required to do 30 hours of annual training. The position requires a mandatory background check with fingerprinting and Infant/Adult CPR & First Aid certification.
