Position Summary
We’re seeking a full-time Senior Technical Project Manager for our San Diego, CA or Bellevue, WA based corporate office.
This critical role will serve as the Chief of Staff to the CTO driving program execution, ensuring operational rigor, and enabling seamless collaboration across global teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to track, monitor, and push forward key projects. Beyond execution, this role is expected to proactively identify process inefficiencies, optimize current workflows, and implement new mechanisms to enhance operational excellence. The candidate will play a key role in identifying bottlenecks, proposing new operating mechanisms, and driving strategic initiatives to alleviate existing challenges. This role requires flexibility in working hours, with core availability expected in the afternoon to evening, and may involve up to 25% travel as needed. While this is an individual contributor role, the candidate will guide and mentor two program managers and provide business writing guidance to engineers and managers

Job Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Translation:
- Build strong collaboration with APAC HQ, advocating for their support, facilitating alignment, providing real-time translation, and bridging cultural gaps to ensure smooth cooperation with the US team.
- Partner with engineering, security, infrastructure, and business functions to align priorities and execution.
- Program Leadership & Business Operations: Own and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring strategic alignment across teams.
- Establish and implement Weekly Business Review (WBR) mechanisms to drive project execution and visibility.
- Track and accelerate key initiatives, identifying bottlenecks and ensuring timely delivery. Coaching & Communication Excellence: Guide and mentor two program managers, ensuring strong execution and stakeholder management.
- Review and edit technical and business documents, helping engineers and managers refine their communication.
- Coach teams on business writing best practices to improve clarity and executive readiness.
- Flexible Work Schedule & Travel: Work flexible hours to support cross-time-zone collaboration, with peak hours in the afternoon for local teams (on-site) and 7-9 PM and 10 PM-12 AM for APAC support (work-from-home).
- Travel up to 25% as needed for global business collaboration and program execution.
- Agile Methodology Expertise
- Apply Agile principles to optimize delivery, manage dependencies, and prioritize work based on business value.
- Foster continuous improvement, adaptability to changing requirements, and alignment with organizational goals through cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in technical program management, business operations, or similar roles.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional programs and establish governance frameworks (QBRs/WBRs).
- Strong technical acumen, with experience working in engineering, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for editing and improving business writing.
- Experience working in a startup culture and collaborating with cross-geo, global teams, particularly across APAC and US time zones.
- Experience in Agile methodologies to enhance business value and drive continuous improvement in organizations of at least 50 people.
- Previous experience in an engineering role is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment. This is an individual contributor role.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to provide real-time translation for meetings and written communication.

Salary : $107,600
