What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Program Manager position at Solvere Technical Group?
Solvere Technical Group currently seeks a Senior Program Manager to plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed of Surface Ship Maintenance initiatives. Prepare and deliver maintenance and modernization planning process briefs, presentations, and updates. You will play a significant role in the maintenance and modernization of in-service ships throughout their life cycle. This role is centered on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) that facilitates the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, streamlines maintenance processing, develops maintenance strategies, and directly supports surface ship Expected Service Life (ESL) goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years experience in DoD/Navy program management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management.
- Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated Experience with DoD/Navy Program Management.
- Demonstrated Experience communicating and interacting with Senior Executive Service or Flag level personnel.
- Strong leadership qualities; strong interpersonal skills; strong communication skills; high level of professionalism; strong computer literacy skills; ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Education:
- Bachelors degree is required in Engineering, Business Management discipline or Preferred Years' Experience.
Security:
- Must have a Secret Clearance or higher.
- Must pass a standard background check.
Work Location:
- Will work "Onsite" 5 days per/week in San Diego, California.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday ("Onsite" 5 days per/week in San Diego, California.
