Avondale House is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency that provides, educational services to individuals with autism, a day program program for adults, where clients receive training in daily living skills and pre-vocational activities and three residential homes for individuals unable to live in their own home. This position is a key leadership role, with a focus on ensuring high-quality services for individuals with autism, program development, and organizational management. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to ensure the nonprofit’s mission is achieved and its programs are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage all programs, including Residential, Adult Day Program, Employment Services, and future programs.
- Oversee a team of program managers and ensure regular opportunities for staff feedback on program operations.
- Review and develop new programs to meet emerging needs; ensure the quality of service delivery.
- Ensure services comply with federal, state, and local regulations and certifications, manage licensures.
- Develop, implement, and manage the program budget in conjunction with the CEO; provide accurate reports.
- Collaborate with the CEO and other leadership to contribute to strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Manages facilities throughout the organization.
- Serve as a representative of Avondale House to community, governmental, and private organizations.
- Promote continuous quality improvement and ensure all activities align with Avondale House’s mission and values.
