Overview
We are in need of an experienced RN to work in a Materials Management roll in a fast paced ASC environment. Our long time Materials Managers is retiring.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Materials Manager RN to oversee our materials management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement, storage, and distribution of materials within our organization. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics to maintain optimal inventory levels and support production needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement materials management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely acquisition of drugs and materials from suppliers
- Manage inventory control systems to track material usage and availability effectively.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and reps to ensure quality materials and timely deliveries.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications
- RN
- Proven experience in materials management, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in logistics coordination and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and with external partners.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
