Position Summary
This position works under general direction of Management in a high to moderate security setting performing a variety of administrative/intermediate level duties that include but are not limited to analyzing, processing, and maintaining confidential information from various databases.
Pay Grade: 43
Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education
Minimum Qualifications
1. 1. Three (3) years of experience in clerical, bookkeeping, data processing, statistical work, or a closely related field; AND
2. 2. High school diploma or possess a GED; OR
3. 3. Four (4) years related experience; and one (1) year of college study from an accredited college or university.
4. 4. An equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
5. 5. PROOF OF EDUCATION; TRAINING; AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. 1. Receives and records information from various departments and agencies.
2. 2. Verifies information compiled, analyzed, recorded, and maintained.
3. 3. Maintains confidential records.
4. 4. Determines disposition of records.
5. 5. Corresponds with outside entities in writing or via phone regarding documentation requests.
6. 6. Assists the Supervisor/Manager with maintaining accurate records and requests submitted.
7. 7. Performs scheduled reviews of records as directed by Administration and policy.
8. 8. Prepares, comprehends, and interpret legal and court documentation.
9. 9. Enters data into computer systems accurately and retrieves files as needed.
1010. Performs all other related duties as assigned.

1. 1. Ability to prepare reports, proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word software applications.
2. 2. Ability to work in a confidential team setting.
3. 3. Ability to plan, organize and maintain an even flow of work.
4. 4. Ability to compose general correspondences, write, and type documents for a variety of needs.
5. 5. Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
6. 6. Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively, verbally and in writing.
7. 7. Must possess good public relation skills both telephone and direct contact with clients and co-workers.
8. 8. Must be attentive to details.
9. 9. Must be able to successfully utilize various legal platforms and databases.

Special Requirements
1. Must be able to pass a drug test.
2. Must be able to work in a prison environment.
3. Participate in annual in-service and other training programs as required.
