Position Summary
This position works as a General Supervisor for Deputy, Deputy II, and/or Principal Court Clerks.
Pay Grade: 46
Salary Commensurate with Education and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
1. Six (6) years of experience performing clerical, statistical, or court-related duties and utilizing an electronic case management system of which two (2) years are in a lead or supervisory capacity; AND
2. High school diploma or possess a GED; OR
3. Two (2) years of lead experience performing clerical, statistical, or court-related duties and utilizing an electronic case management system; and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, public or business administration, or related field.
4. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Serves as a clerk and manages the courtroom.
2. Performs complex clerical functions, data analysis, and statistical reporting.
3. Reviews legal documents submitted to the court for adherence to Local Rules and to ensure proper form.
4. Provides information to the public and answers questions regarding assigned courts and departmental policies and procedures.
5. Communicates with judges, attorneys, management, and other government agencies.
6. Performs essential clerical duties and/or assists court clerks in performing duties.
7. Plans and organized employee training. Provides input for performance evaluations.
8. Works extensively with assigned judge daily to ensure that court calendars and blotters accurately reflect the day's business including, but not limited to, continues, dismissals, final dispositions, and hearings.
9. Provides information and analyzes records for court personnel, attorneys, and others.
10. Maintains daily activity reports and performs quality assurance review of docket entries.
11. Maintains and records case depositions and court orders.
12. Performs other related duties as required or directed.

Special Requirements
May be required to work in our 24 Hours Department.
