Performs manual work providing services to airport customers, assisting in the maintenance and operation of the airport, performing building and grounds maintenance, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the close supervision of the Airport Supervisor.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Assists aircraft staff and customers; provides directions, hotel information, rental assistance, transportation assistance, etc.; approves crew car usage for guests.Checks fuel for quality and contaminants; fuels aircraft as necessary.Answers phones; checks and takes messages; greets and assists general public visitors.Moves and parks aircraft in assigned locations with tractors and tow bars.Assists in keeping the interior and exterior of the terminal building clean of trash, dirt, and debris.Weeds flower beds and trims hedges.Patrols airfield to ensure security of aircraft and facilities;Performs the duties of Airport Supervisor in their absence.
