What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPAP Specialist position at Sheldon Medical Supply?
Sheldon Medical supply is looking for individuals to join our growing CPAP/BIPAP support family in our Sandusky, MI location. You will assist new PAP users with adjusting to using their machines nightly, as well as helping them meet the guidelines for continued coverage by their health insurance. We are looking for serious candidates only that are dependable, reliable, and not afraid to make or take phone calls
Some of the job duties include:
- Verifying insurances
- Obtaining authorizations from insurance companies
- Communicating with patients, physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Data entry
- Multitasking
- Reviewing pap usage
CPAP/BIPAP knowledge is helpful, but not necessary (Training is provided)
Applicants should have the following:
- Proper telephone etiquette
- Basic computer skills
- Be self motivated
- Be organized
- Be goal oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
