Room Attendant
Basic Function
Responsible for consistently meeting or exceeding quality and timeliness standards. Ensuring that company values and standards are met and followed daily.
Responsibilities
- Must adhere to Shell Island Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures
- Cleans and sanitizes guest units including but not limited to bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, closets, desks, refrigerators, balconies, and floors following established procedures
- Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- Hours of work are 8:00am – 4:00pm, including weekends and holidays
- Replaces amenities and any missing inventory
- Maintain a safe work area by keeping cart orderly and stocked with supplies, and ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Conduct visual inspection of unit for frayed electrical cords and broken locks or any unsafe items in unit.
- Report any unit maintenance issues promptly
- Report any lost and found items according to procedures
- Always uphold a high standard and professional experience
- Willing and able to perform any and all duties to site operation as directed by your manager
- Personal timeliness; be prompt with all assignments and duties, ensure sense of urgency exists
- Ability to appear for work on time
- Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
- Assist in inventory of supplies
- Responsible for cleaning all assigned units on time
- Assist in solving guest complaints promptly while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Cultivate and develop strong positive customer relations
- Willing and able to assist resort guests and owners
- Knowledgeable of resort
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for up to 8 hours at a time
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as reaching, kneeling, and bending on a regular basis
- Regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform daily tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, making beds, and mopping and vacuuming floors
