Description :
The Accounting Assistant will support the Accounting Manager by providing oversight for the vendor payment process and general bookkeeping. The Accounting Assistant is responsible for entering vendor payables, bookkeeping, and assisting with month end close in a timely and accurate fashion.
Requirements :
Below is a listing of the job functions this position performs :
- Partners with Accounting Manager on month end, accounts payable and ad hoc reporting.
- Perform vendor account management and ensure timely entry of accounts payable
- Perform all accounting procedures as needed for a soy crush facility
- Maintain proper records, and filing of all documents for compliance and financial audits
- Provide customer service to vendors
- Submit reports in a timely and accurate manner as required
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor(s)
